Nikyatu Jusu (virtual – Writer & Director, NANNY; Assistant Professor in Film & Video, George Mason University)

This event is free and open to all, and is cosponsored by the Dept. of Performing and Media Arts; Cornell Tech; Cornell Cinema; American Studies Program; History of Art; and Africana Studies and Research Center.

Jusu is the second Black women director and NANNY is the first horror film to be awarded with the Sundance Grand Jury Prize (US Dramatic). NANNY will open in select theaters on November 23 and will be made available on Amazon Prime globally on December 16.
